Christopher Hitchens and Stephen Fry debated Ann Widdecombe and Archbishop Onaiyekan of Abuja recently in London. The motion proposed was "The Roman Catholic Church is a force for good in the world".

As it turned out it wasn't much of a sporting spectacle as Hitchens and Fry took Widdecombe and Onalyekan's arguments apart and easily won the closing vote.
